With Gratitude

Dear Friends,

We did not come out on top. I have called Chris Pritchard to congratulate him and I trust that he will represent the district well and fairly.

To all those who participated in and supported our campaign, thank you so much for your efforts and for your trust. Thank you all for the support, the letter writing, sign holding, sign hosting, campaign donations, talking with your neighbors, and all your myriad efforts. You have been wonderful and we could never have gotten this far without you.

While we can always parse the details, I believe this year was largely a strong anti-incumbent tax revolt, particularly among the handful of races that the governor chose to get personally involved in. 

 I am proud of the race we ran, and while I am disappointed, we can all be proud of stepping up to advocate for our vision, and resolve to continue working toward a progressive vision for Vermont and the nation. And I could not have run this race without your deep and unflagging support.
